When using AEON Hollow Rubber Springs as a supplement to conventional leaf springs, coil springs, torsion bars or air springs, the empty ride is not affected. The AOEN Spring is gradually brought into operation according to the load being applied and progressively increases in proportion to the load being carried. Initial take-up is very smooth and the spring rate increase is progressive, resulting in a greatly improved ride, improved load handling, greater load stability and longer spring life.
CAUTION: All Timbren SES are designed to provide maximum performance for stock suspensions in good condition. To achieve optimum performance, take note of the following during installation:
- Suspensions which have been modified may require adjustments to the Timbren SES.
- Make sure that there is adequate clearance for the AEON rubber spring to expand completely under deflection.
- When drilling or welding the vehicle chassis frame rails, always follow the manufacturer's recommended procedure.
- Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended gross vehicle weight (GVWR) or axle rating (GAWR).
